The Winneshiek County 4H program now has 22 new members.
They took part Tuesday in a Scooby Doo-themed New Member Night scavenger hunt at St. Benedict's Social Hall in Decorah. The new members and their parents traveled through five stations to answer "mystery questions" about day camps, Pine Bluff 4-H Camp, the Winneshiek County Fair, the history of 4-H and opportunities beyond Winneshiek County.
Once the new members completed the scavenger hunt, they received 'Scooby Snacks' and were put in a drawing for a chance to win a prize. The night ended with an overview and sharing of the scavenger hunt, questions and a pizza party for all of the new families.
