Luther College students collect Christmas presents for local families

Luther College students have collected Christmas presents for 43 local families.

The Student Activities Council Service Committee, or SAC Service, hosted a Christmas present collection, working with Northeast Iowa Community Action to pair needy local families with various Luther organizations, departments and others interested in participating. Groups were given a wish list from the family by SAC Service and independently raised money to purchase gifts.
 
The students, staff and faculty brought their gifts to Dahl Centennial Union, wrapped up the presents and took them to a local church for registered families to pick up.
