Fire destroys building in Ossian

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire last night in Ossian that destroyed the two-story home of Clover Station.

Witnesses said they heard a big explosion, then saw a massive fire.  Several fire departments were called to the scene, including those from Decorah, Fort Atkinson and Calmar.

The owner of the business lived in the back of the building, but she was not home at the time of the fire.  No injuries were reported.
