North Winneshiek School District will apply for state funds for at-risk students

The North Winneshiek School Board has approved spending around $115,000 for its 2017-2018 at-risk/drop out prevention program.

The at-risk/drop out prevention funding comes from local property taxes and a small portion of state aid.  The at-risk/drop out prevention program helps students who are having trouble with academics and/or issues which hinder their school success.
