Waukon accident kills one person

The Iowa State Patrol says a LeClaire man was killed Wednesday evening in an accident on Highway 9.

43-year-old Christopher Hoff was traveling east on Highway 9 near Pole Line Road shortly after 5:00 p.m. when his pickup crossed the center line and collided head-on with a car driven by 44-year-old Amy Robinson of Decorah.  Robinson was injured and was taken to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.
