First Lutheran food pantry seeking volunteers

Volunteers are need to help at the community food pantry located at First Lutheran Church.
 
The Northeast Iowa RSVP Program says volunteers are needed to escort food pantry clients through the pantry while they select their items. The food pantry is open Monday through Friday 1:15 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  Scheduling is flexible; volunteers can pick what day and how often they want to volunteer.
 
Volunteers are also needed to deliver meals to the home bound in Decorah. Volunteers are currently needed on Mondays, however, volunteers are welcome for any day of the week, or to serve on call. When scheduled, volunteers go to the senior meal site around 10:00 a.m.  It usually take about one and a half hours to deliver meals to a specific route. Volunteers can deliver alone or in pairs.
