Deadline nearing for submissions to the DAR essay contest

The deadline for entries for the American History Essay Contest sponsored by Hannah Lee Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution has been extended to next Monday, December 12th.

The essay contest is open to students in grades 5 through 8.  The essays must be written on the topic of "Celebrating a Century:  American's National Parks."
