Letter to the Editor: Help Winneshiek County Recycling by picking up around bins

(Max Quaas of Decorah has sent the following Letter to the Editor):

"When I went to the downtown recycling area yesterday, it looked like a dump.  Folks "accidentally" dropped paper, plastic and cardboard on the ground instead of putting it in the containers. 

Please do as I do when I deliver recyclables--I go over to stuff lying on the ground, pick up five pieces and deposit it in the recycle containers.  If everyone did that, the site would be cleaned up and would not be a disgrace, as it frequently is."
