SUV rollover totals the car

A Decorah woman was not injured, but her SUV was totaled in a one-vehicle rollover at 3:45 Monday afternoon on Locust Road.

56-year-old Bonnie Beard was backing up her SUV on a driveway in the 800 block of Locust Road when it slid off the driveway and into a ditch, coming to rest on its side and deploying the airbags.

The vehicle was destroyed in the accident, but Beard was uninjured and was able to escape the vehicle on her own.
