There's a new member of the NICC Board of Trustees

Fayette resident Sue Runyon has been named to a spot on the Northeast Iowa Community College Board of Trustees.

Runyon will represent District 1, which includes the school districts of Riceville, New Hampton, North Fayette Valley, West Central and the area within the former Fredericksburg school district boundaries.

Runyon will be administered the oath of office on Monday and will tour the Calmar campus.  She replaces Fredericksburg resident John Rothlisberger, who is resigning from the board due to moving out of the NICC district.

Runyon is a retired mathematics teacher and consultant for Keystone AEA.
