Join the Decorah Public Library History Book Group to discuss Andrew Roberts' 2015 award-winning bestseller "Napoleon: A Life."

Roberts' "Napoleon" is the first one-volume biography to take advantage of the recent publication of Napoleon's 33,000 letters, which radically transform our understanding of his character and motivation.

An award-winning historian, Andrew Roberts traveled to 53 of Napoleon's 60 battle sites, discovered crucial new documents in archives, and even made the trip by boat to St. Helena.

The discussion will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 12 on the 2nd floor of the library. There will be no meeting in December.

Books are available for checkout at the front desk of the library. The group is open to the public and newcomers are encouraged to attend.

Call the library at 382-3717 for more information.
