Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce's Kristina Wiltgen preparing to take the helm

Kristina Wiltgen will officially step into her new role as the DACC Executive Director in January.

Wiltgen has been busy working with outgoing Executive Director Nikki Brevig to transition into her her new role.

The incoming Executive Director is no newcomer to the Chamber. Wiltgen has been part of the DACC team for thirteen years and is currently serving as Director of Operations. Prior to the DACC she served as the Executive Director of the Lanesboro Area Chamber of Commerce in Lanesboro, Minnesota.

Kristina has been involved in many local organizations and has a passion for local business.

Looking ahead, Wiltgen has plans to refine the Chamber's role in providing workforce education and resources to local businesses. She says workforce issues seem to be the most significant issue for Decorah businesses.
