Decorah Police make two arrests, respond to one accident

Decorah Police have announced they recently made two arrests.

60-year-old Shirley McCabe of Decorah was stopped by an officer on Day Street Sunday, November 13th.  She was arrested for First Offense Operating While Intoxicated and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

Also November 13th, 25-year-old Marc Vorwald of Decorah was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was arrested and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail, where he was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

Finally, 42-year-old Mark Bean of Decorah was ticketed for Failure to Obey a Yield Sign on October 22nd when he crashed into a car driven by 17-year-old Lee Stahl of Decorah.  The accident did a total of $6,000 in damages.  Neither driver was injured.
