South Winneshiek School District residents can now cast absentee ballots in a PPEL levy referendum

Absentee balloting is now available in the County Auditor's office for the December 6th South Winneshiek School District special election. 

South Winneshiek voters are being asked to approve a "Physical Plant and Equipment Levy" (PPEL) of 67 cents per $1,000 of assessed taxable property valuation.  The money would be used for various infrastructure projects in the school district.

South Winn residents can vote absentee in the County Auditor's office in the Courthouse during normal business hours.  The polling location at Calmar Lutheran Church will be open Noon – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6th.
