House moving goes smoothly on Wednesday

The house located behind Decorah Bank & Trust on Riverside Drive was moved to a new location on Mechanic Street on Wednesday morning.

Aylsworth House Movers of Wadena handled the move, which required coordination with local utilities and local police.  The house was moved on a zigzag path until it was set down at its new location on Mechanic Street.

It was a close fit around light poles
