Just before Tuesday's election, students at Decorah High School were asked to vote for a presidential candidate--either Republican Donld Trump or Democrat Hillary Clinton.
When the votes were tallied, Trump received 246 votes, with HIllary Clinton receiving 233.
That was in the "popular vote." The students had been subdivided by classroom, with each classroom getting "electoral votes." As with states, classrooms with smaller populations had a larger proportional effect on the final vote tally. That count gave Clinton the victory--275 to 265 in electoral votes.
