Posted: Sun, Nov 6, 2016 5:22 PM

This year's annual Pie Bake fundraiser will be benefiting two Decorah women fighting breast cancer--Kelly Bollman and Bridget Parker. Kelly Bollman and her family are long-time residents of the Decorah area. In August, Kelly was diagnosed with angiosarcoma breast cancer, a very rare diagnosis. She is currently undergoing treatment.  Bridget Parker and her family recently moved to the Decorah area. Bridget works for Olson Explosives, and her husband, Brent, is a police officer with the Decorah Police Department. In August, Bridget was diagnosed with HER2 positive invasive ductal carcinoma. She is currently undergoing treatment.

Orders are being taken through Wednesday of this week.  Pecan pies cost $11 apiece, while pumpkin pies cost $9 apiece.

To make an order or donation, call/text Breelyn (563-419-1971) or Laura (515-468-7189).   Pies will be ready for pick-up at Decorah Lutheran Church from 10 am-5 pm on Wednesday, November 23rd.
