Letter to the Editor: Anyone but Donald Trump

(Randall Hanson of Ridgeway has submitted the following Letter to the Editor):

Anyone but Trump for president.  Trump is a infomercial huckster; he traffics in conspiracy theories and extreme racist invective, he is appallingly sexist, he is erratic, secretive, and xenophobic and not fit to be a dogcatcher, let alone President . He has been accused of raping a 13-year-old and his court date has been set.

That and his recent sexual predator remarks about grabbing and putting down women in other terms should be enough to disqualify him from any government job in Decorah and elsewhere and are enough to qualify him to be put on a predator list in some states.

But it seems most of the State of Iowa's GOP leaders and Winneshiek County local leaders are in cowardly lockstep with the guy and refuse to condemn his inflammatory and dangerous remarks, which continued in the last debate for those who watched it and continues almost daily on his Twitter feed.  Sadly it speaks volumes about our leaders in the state and Winneshiek County and puts a black eye on all Iowans' values.

So don't vote for Trump--we have other options on the ballot--look at them and think about it.
