Vesterheim Museum is looking for gingerbread creations

Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum is looking for people willing to submit their homemade gingerbread creations to be a part of the annual "Gingerbread Fair" at the museum from December 2nd through January 2nd.

Bring your decorated gingerbread creation to the Bruening Visitor Center at 502 West Water Street between November 25th and December 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

"Making a gingerbread house can be a great Thanksgiving weekend activity for families and the start of a wonderful family tradition," says Vesterheim Education Specialist Darlene Fossum-Martin.

The gingerbread creations should be of edible materials, with bases not to exceed the size of a large pizza box.

Gingerbread creations must be picked up between January 3rd and 13th.
