Repairs have been completed to Bridge C on Trout Run Trail

Doug Egland Tiling of Ossian has completed its work to repair damage done in August's flooding to Bridge C on the Trout Run Trail--the bridge that is just off Trout Run Road, halfway to the Hatchery.

City and county officials are praising the work.  They say in addition to adding riprap to the sides of the bridge, Egland's crews did some work to make sure the Trout Run Creek channel did not cause future erosion.  They also put in riprap along the handicapped fishing access just downstream from the bridge.

Best of all, say the city and county officials, the entire project was done requiring only two days of closing down that portion of the Trout Run Trail.
