Supporters filled Winneshiek County Democratic Party headquarters Thursday in Decorah to hear Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate Patty Judge encourage them to work on the Get Out the Vote. State senate candidate Jan Heikes and State Senator Rob Hogg from Cedar Rapids also spoke.
Judge discussed her plan to strengthen working families and grow the economy. "It's time to create greater economic opportunity for Iowa families by addressing the skyrocketing cost of education, protecting Social Security for our senior citizens, and lowering the cost of prescription drugs," said Judge.
She also discussed Senator Chuck Grassley's refusal to hold confirmation hearings to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court and his steadfast support for Donald Trump despite recent video surfacing of the presidential candidate bragging about sexual assault.
