Republican Congressman Rod Blum leveled strong criticism Wednesday of his Democratic Party opponent, Monica Vernon.
Blum told Republicans at an afternoon rally, "I don't know what she stands for." He pointed out that Vernon used to be a registered Republican, but has switched party affiliations. He suggested that Vernon is out for herself, not for the public.
Blum also talked of a "chasm" between Republicans and Democrats and said that if the public wants more of the same from the last eight years, they should vote for Vernon, but if they want change, they should vote for Republicans.
