State party leaders rally Winneshiek County Republicans

Winneshiek County Republican Party members were told Wednesday that the upcoming election will be an important one.

Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and other elected Republicans and Republican candidates met with three dozen supporters at the Winneshiek County Republican Party headquarters on Water Street Wednesday afternoon.

Branstad told local Republicans, "We need to be united, we need to fight for every office."  Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds stressed the same theme, telling the audience, "Elections matter."
