9:45AM MONDAY UPDATE: Investigators have left the scene of the double shooting in Freeport

The shooting scene has been cordoned off with yellow tape

Investigators from the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation have now left the scene of a double shooting at the North Terrace Mobile Home Court in Freeport.

Winneshiek County Sheriff Dan Marx last night said there is no reason for the public to fear for its safety, adding that no one has been taken into custody.

Police are not looking for anyone and the investigation is centered around the shooting scene.

Police have not yet released details of the shooting victims nor the details of the shooting.
