Kristina Wiltgen named new Executive Director of the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce

Kristina Wiltgen, who has worked for 13 years at the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce, has been named the organization's new Executive Director.  Most recently Wiltgen has held the position of Director of Operations, running both the internal operations of the organization as well as several programs, events and committees.

Wiltgen replaces Nikki Brevig, who earlier this year announced she would be leaving the post December 30th after 12 years as Executive Director. 
 
Said DACC Board President Dominique Bockman, "We believe her experience and knowledge of our chamber will lead us well, now and into the future."
 
Wiltgen will become Executive Director December 1st.  She said, "In the next year we will be establishing a foundation to aid in continuing local and professional educational opportunities. We will also be taking a hard look at local workforce issues and focus on what we can do to effect change at the local level."
