SUNDAY 8:30PM UPDATE: Shots fired in the North Terrace Mobile Home Court in Freeport

Portable lighting has been set up

Law enforcement officers are at the scene of a shooting in Freeport Sunday night.  The North Terrace Mobile Home Court has been sealed off to traffic, with squad cars from the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department, Iowa State Patrol and Decorah Police Department on the scene.  Portable lighting has been brought in to give investigators a better look at the apparent shooting scene.

Sources tell decorahnews.com someone fired shots from a truck after 7:00 p.m. Sunday.  The Winneshiek County Medical Examiner has been called to the scene to examine at least one body.  The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation has told KCRG-TV news that two people have been killed.
