Satellite absentee voting station at Luther was popular

The Winneshiek County Auditor's Office says a satellite absentee voting station set up Wednesday at Luther College's Student Union was popular.
 
233 ballots were cast--133 by registered Democrats, 4 by registered Republicans and 96 by voters without a party affiliation.  
 
Another satellite voting station for the general election will be in operation at the Luther Student Union from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25th.
