Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce to raffle off a $15,000 scholarship

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is raising money by conducting a raffle with a prize of a $15,000 scholarship to attend any college or university in Iowa.

Only 600 tickets will be sold, with each ticket costing $50.  The scholarship can be used towards AA, Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degrees. The Chamber of Commerce is asking that at least some of the $15,000 prize be used within seven years of winning the drawing.

Tickets are on sale at the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce office at 507 West Water Street in Decorah. Tickets are also available through members of the DACC Board of Directors. Individuals must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.
