NICC President Wee wins national award

Northeast Iowa Community College President Dr. Liang Chee Wee has won a national award.

Wee this week received the Chairman's Award for Lifetime Achievement from the International Economic Development Council, a non-profit organization for economic developers which has more than 4,700 members.

The award recognizes a leader of a community institution (university, community college, hospital, local foundation or other community institution) who has made significant contributions to the community in support of economic development through their leadership, financial support, local investments, hiring, training or related activities.
