City, county will try again to hire a new IT Director

A special committee formed to hire a new IT Director for Winneshiek County and the City of Decorah has decided to start over again after getting just two applications.

The city/county committee will reopen the application process from now until October 7th, then will meet to review applications.

County supervisors praised the members of the committee Monday for being "diligent" and agreeing to start the hiring process over again.
