Ice Cave Road has been closed

Even with no additional rain, the ground in the decorah area is so saturated that additional damage can be done.

That's been shown with the closing of Ice Cave Road.  Because of the water-soaked soil, part of the bluff along Ice Cave Road has fallen.  The resulting mudslide has covered the road--and forced its closure.

The public is asked to avoid Ice Cave Road.
