Luther College chosen a semi-finalist in campus sustainability competition

Luther College has been selected as one of 20 semi-finalists in the Sustainable Campus Competition.

Luther's contest entry involved electricity metering for its residence hall rooms.  The YouTube video above explains the project.

A total of 226 entries were received for the contest.  Now that 20 semi-finalists have been selected, they have submitted a 2-minute video and 1-page financial overview of their project.

Three finalists will be selected to present their project in front of a panel of judges on October 10th, with a grand prize of $50,000 awarded to the school to go toward a sustainability project on their campus.
