Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity is starting to work on converting the Hesper Friends Church into a home for its newest partner family, Holly Dahl and daughters Deanna and Savannah. Volunteers wil work on the project every Tuesday and Saturday.
The project site is located at 1882 County Road A-14 in Hesper. This will be the 30th home built by Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity, with other homes located in Burr Oak, Calmar, Castalia, Decorah, Freeport, Ossian, Spillville and Ridgeway
Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization.
