The Decorah Driftless Dodgers vintage "base ball" team remains undefeated after prevailing over the Decorah Fire Department Sunday in a game of vintage baseball played to benefit victims of the August flood.

Vintage baseball is played by the rules of 1860.  A guest umpire from Rochester, Corky Gaskell, helped both the spectators and players to understand the rules and to provide historical information.

The Driftless Dodgers ended the game with 16 runs, while the Decorah Firefighters had "somewhat less."

Contributions to the flood relief effort were accepted during the game.  A total of $1,355 will be given to the NEICA Flood Fund.
