The Northeast Iowa Community-Based Dairy Foundation have begun accepting registrations for a two-day tour of Wisconsin dairies on November 10th and 11th.
The tour bus will depart from Iowa's Dairy Center in Calmar at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10th. It will make stops that day at Genex Cooperative, Inc., Milk Source's Tidy View Dairy and MilkSource Genetics. After an overnight stay in Little Chute, Wisconsin, participants will tour Lely robots at Wichman Farms, an automatic calf feeding system at Meadow Brook Dairy and on-farm processing at Sassy Cow Creamery. The bus will arrive back in Calmar around 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 11th.
