North Winneshiek School Board holds organizational meeting

Brenda Kreitzer has been elected as president and Ben Lange as vice president of the North Winneshiek School Board for the 2016-2017 school year.

The board held its organizational meeting on Monday, appointing Jon Wangsness to the Winneshiek County Conference Board, Myron Rediske as an Iowa Association of School Board delegate and Scott Fairchild as the Legislative Action Network Representative.

The North Winn School Board also approved Wendy Twait as the district's secretary/treasurer, approved three law firms for the school district's legal matters and named two banks, Decorah Bank and Trust and Viking State Bank and Trust, as the district's depository banks.
