Decorah School Board conducts organizational business for upcoming year

The Decorah Community School Board held its organizational meeting for the 2016-17 year on Monday night.

President Ron Fadness and Vice President John Hjelle were re-elected to their positions. Krista Vanden Brink was appointed as the Board Representative to the Shareholder group. Brian Petersburg was appointed as the County Conference Board Representative, and Ron Fadness will continue to serve as the Assembly Delegate.

The Board agreed to continue with the second Monday of each month, 6 p.m., as the standard meeting time (subject to change as needed).
