Decorah Bank & Trust has made a $10,000 donation to the Flood Relief Fund set up in Winneshiek County.
The donation has helped to start the fund, which has raised more than $43,000 so far to help those affected by August flooding.
To donate money to the flood relief fund, make out a check to NEICAC Flood Relief with a notation about which county the funds should be directed towards (Winneshiek, Howard, Allamakee, Fayette or Clayton). Contributions are tax-deductible.
The flood fund is a joint partnership with Northeast Iowa Community Action, Winneshiek County United Way and the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce.
Applications for those impacted by the flooding can be picked up at the Decorah Chamber of Commerce offices. For more information on the program, contact Nikki Brevig at director@decorahareachamber.com or 563-382-3990.
