Calmar man died in weekend accident

The Iowa State Patrol says a one-vehicle accident has claimed the life of a Calmar man.

 32-year-old Omar Flores was driving on County W-14 two miles north of Spillville around 3:30 Sunday morning when he lost control of his truck.  The truck entered a ditch and rolled onto its top in a creek.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department, Calmar Fire & Rescue and the Decorah ambulance.
