Winneshiek True Value has new owners

Family-owned Fisk Farm and Home has bought the Winneshiek True Value store in Centrum Plaza in Decorah.

Curt & Julie Fisk opened a hardware store in Monona 39 years ago, added a store in Cresco 20 years ago and have been calling the store "Fisk Farm and Home."

Over the weekend they took possession of Winneshiek True Value, which had been owned by Pete Marsing of Decorah.

Their daughter, Julie Fisk, says her brother, Paul, will manage the Decorah store.  She will also spend time in Decorah, as well as in Cresco.
