Semi catches on fire, but nobody injured

A semi trailer caught on fire around 8:15 Friday morning on Highway 9 one mile west of Ridgeway.

The Hurst Logistics truck caught on fire while hauling bale wrap.  However, the driver was able to escape safely and no one was injured.  Ridgeway firefighters responded to the call and extinguished the fire.

The name of the driver was not released.
