Alumni art exhibition begins at Luther

"Dunnings Spring" by Derrik Gagliardi, Luther College Class of 1991

An art exhibit featuring the work of 13 Luther College art alumni will go on display Monday in Preus Library on the Luther campus. This year's alumni exhibition features work by artists celebrating reunions at Homecoming this year. Exhibitors include:

• Class of 1931, Harland Philip Nasvik
• Class of 1971, Kate Huffman
• Class of 1976, Randy Carlson, George Lowe, Michael Knudson
• Class of 1981, Paul Myhre
• Class of 1986, Gunnar Schwarz
• Class of 1991, Derrik Gagliardi
• Class of 1996, Nate Evans and Hallie Evans (Class of 1997)
• Class of 2006, Maggie Schneider
• Class of 2011, Ryan Kitchen, Xi Nan

The majority of the work will be displayed on the main floor of Preus Library. Several works will be displayed at other locations indicated on exhibit labels in the library.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
