Local agent named to the Department of Health and Human Services' Regional Agents and Brokers Coalition

Midwest Group Benefits, Inc. agent Brian Huinker has been selected as one of two brokers to serve on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Regional Agents and Brokers Coalition.
 
This advisory group consists of brokers from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.  The group is a sounding board for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' regional office.  It also gives feedback from consumers and broker experiences with the health insurance exchange.  
 
Huinker notes, "2017 is going to be full of changes.  With insurance companies leaving the marketplace, 40 percent plus cost increases for some individuals, and narrow networks, consumers will need education before picking out a plan."
