Work will be done on one of the Trout Run Trail bridges

Some new riprap has been put underneath the bridge

One of the Trout Run Trail bridges was damaged by last week's flooding.  "Bridge C" is located close to Trout Run Road, adjacent to a fishing access.

Riprapping underneath the bridge was torn away by floodwaters.  An entire cottonwood tree floated down Trout Run Creek and was caught by pillar supports for an old bridge just upstream from Bridge C.  A portion of the southern bridge support has washed away.

City and county officials met Tuesday with representatives from Doug Egland Tiling to discuss how repairs might be made to the structure.

Trout Run Trail from the Fish Hatchery to Highway 9/52 remains closed while clean-up along the trail continues.
