Ask Mr. Answer Person: "What's happening on Pleasant Avenue?"

Peter e-mails: "Lotta trucks coming and going past Day Street and Rural Avenue from the road to Siewers Spring.  Are they paving from the city limits to Trout Run Road?"

Mr. Answer Person says: "The road project on Pleasant Avenue is a City of Decorah road project.  Yes, the construction crews have paved Pleasant Avenue, but, no, they're not paving all the way to Trout Run Road because some of that portion is maintained by Winneshiek County, not the City of Decorah.

Nevertheless, I think you'll agree that the newly paved portion of the road from the Highway 9 overpass to the city limits near St. Benedict's Cemetery is a very nice improvement.  Here are a few pictures to prove my point."
