Crews are working to get Viking Stadium ready for the first home football game

Work is progressing on getting the track at Viking Stadium ready for the first home football game on Friday, August 26th against North Fayette.

A new track surface has been installed.  Crews were working Wednesday to paint the lines on the track lanes.  Also at the stadium, the new scoreboard has been put up.  Crews were also working Wednesday to make the scoreboard systems operational.

Fundraising for the stadium project has been completed.  The Decorah School District had sought to raise $50,000 in private donations towards the project--and it had raised over $80,000 as of Monday
