New Seed Savers Exchange board member named

Seed Savers Exchange, Inc. has elected Sean Sherman to its board of directors.

Sherman is a successful chef, educator and entrepreneur who is the founder of the company "The Sioux Chef."  He has done extensive work with revitalizing indigenous food systems in a modern culinary context.

"Sean Sherman is making an important contribution to honor the foodways of the indigenous peoples of North America," said Seed Savers Exchange board chair Rowen White, adding, "His experience and creativity in preparing and showcasing heirloom seeds in his cuisine to inspire new tastes and highlight new varieties is a huge contribution to the heirloom seed movement."

 Seed Savers Exchange now has ten members on its Board of Directors.
