Luther College pledges $120,000 towards the purchase of a new aerial ladder fire truck in Decorah

Luther College will help the City of Decorah buy an aerial ladder fire truck--just as it did with the last such purchase in 1999.

Luther President Paula Carlson told city council members Monday night that the school will donate $120,000 toward the purchase of a $900,000 fire truck being sold by the City of Indianola.

Carlson said Luther is happy to continue its partnership with Decorah.
