A dog bite incident will be discussed by City of Calmar officials next Thursday, August 18th.

Earlier this month, according to Calmar Police, four bulldogs attacked a woman and her dog, injuring the woman and killing the dog.  Under state law, a hearing must be held within ten days of such incidents to determine whether the dogs involved in the attack should be killed.

City of Calmar officials say the four dogs have been kept in confinement since the attack.

August 18th's hearing on the matter will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Calmar Fire Station.
