Yard Waste Site will be open the rest of this week

In response to the storm that swept through Decorah on Thursday evening, the Decorah yard-waste site on Trout Run Road will be open for residents' use for the rest of this week.

City street superintendent Kevin Nelson says the site will remain open for residents to haul their storm damage debris to the location. Only yard-waste is collected at the site--building materials and other debris needs to be hauled to the landfill or collected by a commercial solid waste company.
